    PCG celebrates NC STEM Schools of Distinction

    In September, three public schools in North Carolina were recognized for their exemplary leadership and instruction in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. Greene County Middle School, Meadowview Magnet Middle School, and Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy are the latest schools to be recognized under the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s (NC DPI) STEM Recognition Program.

    Project SUCCESS Featured in K-12 Newsletter

    PCG’s client project developed in collaboration with the Indiana Department of Education, called Project SUCCESS, was mentioned in the September 17th issue of Big Deal Media’s K-12 Technology newsletter focused on children with autism. The article provides details on research-based resources for increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders and meeting the needs of students with disabilities.

    Maryland Attorney General sues federal government to protect the ACA

    On Thursday, September 13, 2018, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh filed a lawsuit in federal district court in Maryland requesting a declaratory judgment that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is constitutional, and a court order preventing the federal government from taking any action is inconsistent with that conclusion.

    PCG Cares goes back to school

    It’s hard to believe that the start of a new school year is right around the corner, but as we all know: time flies when you’re having fun! That’s certainly been the case for us at PCG this year with so many employees engaging in our PCG Cares program: seeing all the different ways our colleagues are making an impact in the communities where we live and work has been exciting, not to mention energizing.
