During the 2022–2023 school year, Idaho’s St. Maries School District was frustrated with how labor intensive their Medicaid claiming process had become due to use of multiple systems. That year, the district partnered with PCG for Medicaid claiming services and implemented EDPlan™, PCG’s suite of tools and services that promote a plan for student success—in special education, academics, behavior, and beyond.
PCG worked closely with St. Maries to help them optimize reimbursement while maintaining compliant, using EDPlan tools EasyTrac™ and EasyIEP™. These integrated platforms allowed for streamlined claiming, while district administrators were able to easily monitor Medicaid service logging via consolidated data dashboards and ongoing reports from PCG.

Through the partnership with PCG, St. Maries experienced a dramatic turnaround in its Medicaid program. Comparing reimbursement received, students claimed, and average reimbursement per student from 2022–2023 to 2024–2025 showed more than an eightfold increase in reimbursement after adopting EDPlan. PCG’s support has helped St. Maries—and more than 1,700 districts nationwide—improve the efficiency and financial performance of their school-based Medicaid programs.
Plan on success for your students. Plan on EDPlan—used in more than 30 states, supporting thousands of schools and districts nationwide.
