Announcing Our FY26 EPIC Awards Winner for Community

PCG’s quarterly employee recognition program, aptly-named the EPIC Awards, is designed to help bring the firm’s four core tenets—Entrepreneurial Spirit, Passion, Impact, and Community—to life in a tangible way. Today, we are thrilled to announce that Rachel Wyant has been selected as PCG’s newest EPIC Awards winner in recognition of her Community for engaging and serving others, both within and outside of PCG.

Rachel served as the grant lead for the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) program supporting Day Supports providers as they transitioned to more community‑integrated business models. She demonstrated strong cross‑functional leadership by partnering with leadership, IT, finance, corporate finance, and client stakeholders to design a JotForm system that balanced programmatic and financial needs. Through open dialogue and strong alignment across teams, Rachel enabled the review of 40 applications and more than 100 invoices across 35 grantees, supporting the distribution of over $2.8 million to date while strengthening client trust and grantee satisfaction.

“Rachel [clearly] demonstrated a strong sense of community both in terms of encouraging cross-functional teamwork and energizing the team to continually improve.  As the lead on a grant project, she made sure that my finance team staff had input into designing the invoice review process to optimize our workflow which really increased their buy-in and motivation on the project. As we encountered obstacles, she spearheaded problem solving either by pulling in technical support team members or reconfiguring our processes.” – Ashely Mason, Senior Manager/Finance, Human Services

Rachel is deeply committed to serving her community through hands‑on volunteer work. She actively volunteers with Blue Spruce Kiwanis, supports Mountain Area Health and Human Services providers, and serves as the community chair for her local scout troop. These volunteer engagements have given her personal experience and understanding of people who are older and people with disabilities and/or developmental disabilities. She brings that passion and those experiences into her work and improves PCG’s deliverables. This involvement has given her a strong understanding of the real‑world barriers these communities face, including limited access to inclusive resources and services. Her community engagement reflects a genuine dedication to creating opportunities that support independence and connection for those she serves.

“Rachel really demonstrates both facets of Community: she has demonstrated commitment to her community through volunteer activities and has taken that experience and used the knowledge to support the projects of Aging & Disabilities.  She is also very effective at creating an internal sense of community on our team and her project teams by going out of her way to gather diverse perspectives and facilitate exchange of ideas. – Katie Alijewicz, Senior Consultant, Human Services

Congratulations to Rachel on this well-deserved recognition!
