At PCG, we strive to provide our education partners with solutions that position all students (and their teachers!) for success in school, and beyond. ‘Solutions that matter’ is more than just a tagline: it reflects our commitment to delivering solutions that improve lives, such as the special education work we do in partnership with states, districts, schools, and individual educators. Emblematic of our approach to delivering solutions that matter, Project Success was a resource center that we designed and delivered alongside the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) to support higher academic achievement for students with disabilities. PCG assisted IDOE with Project Success from 2013 to 2021 (case studies of our work with districts across Indiana are available here). Having successfully completed our contract with IDOE earlier this year, we are excited to take what we learned over the past eight years in Indiana and bring that experience and expertise to special education teachers and school teams nationwide with our new Project Success Resource Center!

Through the Project Success Resource Center, PCG will partner with state departments of education and local school districts across the country to develop and lead research-based, targeted professional development on the integration of academic standards, functional skills, curriculum, and assessments to improve outcomes for all students, and, in particular, those students with significant disabilities. PCG’s Project Success Resource Center team will also coach individual educators and school teams on the implementation of inclusive practices to expand opportunities for students with disabilities, and ensure the provision of a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).

By providing a needs assessment and carefully aligned content, PCG’s team will ensure educators receive the support they need to be successful—whether they are new special education teachers, have experience, or are emerging teacher leaders, our Project Success Resource Center will meet teachers where they are. We are thrilled to confirm that the Project Success Resource Center will offer the following programs and resources for the 2021-2022 school year:

  • New Teacher Jump Start – Two (2) half-day virtual sessions on August 18-19, 2021
  • Project Success Playbook (year-long program)
    • for Special Education Teachers – One (1) hour kick offs scheduled for August 23rd and 24th!
    • for Emerging Teacher Leaders – One (1) hour kick offs scheduled for August 25th and 26th!
  • Classroom tools and more!

To reserve your spot and/or request additional information about any of the above-mentioned programs and resources, you can either visit the Project Success Resource Center service page here or contact Meredith Keedy-Merk (mkeedymerk@pcgus.com).
