Contact Tracing: Delivering Solutions When they Matter Most
Throughout the pandemic, PCG has established itself as a recognized leader across multiple states—including New York, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Ohio, and Arkansas—in developing contact tracing solutions that have helped public health systems track thousands of exposures and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We have partnered with these states and worked with them on the ground to hire, train, and manage local contact tracing teams.

5th Circuit Court of Appeals Upholds Provider Fee That States Pay Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to Receive Federal Reimbursement for Managed Care Organization (MCO) Payments
On Friday, July 31, 2020, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit overturned a lower court decision and upheld the provider fee that states are required to pay under Section 9010 of the ACA, on behalf of MCOs, in order for the states to receive federal reimbursement for payments to the MCOs.

U.S. District Court in Wisconsin holds that DHHS is not bound by ALJ decision
On Monday, July 6, 2020, the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin held that the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is allowed to deny Medicare payment for a brain cancer patient’s treatment despite approval of similar claims by an administrative law judge (ALJ), because ALJ decisions are not binding on the agency.
