Announcing Our FY25 EPIC Awards Winner for Entrepreneurial Spirit!

PCG’s quarterly employee recognition program, the EPIC Awards, is designed to help bring the firm’s four core tenets—Entrepreneurial Spirit, Passion, Impact, and Community—to life in a tangible way. Today, we are thrilled to announce that Helen McDermott, a Senior Consultant in Human Services, has been selected as PCG’s newest EPIC Awards winner in recognition of the Entrepreneurial Spirit she has demonstrated by innovating and improving the systems we use to deliver meaningful solutions.

    Public Consulting Group continues 3rd year of collaboration with Illinois State Board of Education and Chicago Public Schools

    CHICAGO, February 27, 2019— For the third consecutive year, Public Consulting Group (PCG) recently hosted eight Chicago Public Schools (CPS) high school students as part of CPS’s Department of Career and Technical Education Job Shadow Day.

    PCG supports career readiness through Chicago Public Schools Job Shadow Day

    For Ryan Witt, Senior Operations Analyst at PCG, it was a positive change of pace to welcome eight local high school students to PCG’s Chicago office for a recent Job Shadow Day. For the third consecutive year, PCG had juniors and seniors from Chicago Public Schools (CPS) focusing on careers in entrepreneurship and business administration spend a half day learning from PCG professionals about the work they do supporting clients to improve operations and implement solutions.

    PCG continues 2nd year of collaboration with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and Chicago Public Schools (CPS)

    PCG's Chicago office hosted eight CPS high school students as part of CPS's Office of College and Career Readiness Job Shadow Day. All eight students are in the entrepreneurism/business career pathway. PCG's participation in Job Shadow Day continues to strengthen the collaborative effort between PCG, ISBE, and CPS to support students' college and career readiness.
