Announcing Our FY25 EPIC Awards Winner for Entrepreneurial Spirit!

PCG’s quarterly employee recognition program, the EPIC Awards, is designed to help bring the firm’s four core tenets—Entrepreneurial Spirit, Passion, Impact, and Community—to life in a tangible way. Today, we are thrilled to announce that Helen McDermott, a Senior Consultant in Human Services, has been selected as PCG’s newest EPIC Awards winner in recognition of the Entrepreneurial Spirit she has demonstrated by innovating and improving the systems we use to deliver meaningful solutions.

    PCG Recognized as Apprenticeship Ambassador by U.S. Department of Labor

    Public Consulting Group (PCG) is proud to announce its recognition as an Apprenticeship Ambassador in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship Ambassador Initiative. Established in 2022, this initiative aims to bring together industry, labor, education, equity and workforce leaders to partner with the department’s Office of Apprenticeship and promote Registered Apprenticeships as a valuable workforce strategy in high-demand industries.

    In July 2024, PCG welcomed its first-ever intern through the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge Program, which partners service members during their final months of active duty with corporations who can help them leverage their skills and experience in a civilian workplace.

    The recent brief, “Transforming Foster Care: Reducing Reliance on Congregate Care for Better Outcomes”, authored by PCG’s Jen MacBlane and Sarah Sparks, highlights the urgent need to reform foster care systems by reducing reliance on congregate care settings. While these placements may be necessary in certain situations, they often result in poorer outcomes for children compared to family-based alternatives.
