Welcoming PCG’s 2026 Summer Internship Cohort

June marks the exciting kickoff of PCG’s 2026 Summer Internship Program! We’re thrilled to introduce our new class of 13 talented interns, who will soon become integral members of teams across the firm during their ten-week journey. Whether they’re working in bustling offices or collaborating remotely, each intern brings a fresh perspective and energy to PCG.

This year, PCG’s FY26 internship program has shifted to a primarily in-person experience (with some hybrid flexibility), marking a significant change from prior years. Designed as a strategic talent initiative, the program focuses on converting top-performing rising college seniors and graduate students into full-time employees by connecting academic learning to real-world consulting work.

This reflects a smaller, more focused cohort aligned with the program’s shift toward a more intentional, primarily in-person experience—centered on impact, mentorship, and meaningful connection to PCG’s culture. While 100% of FY25 interns reported a positive experience, more than half expressed a desire for increased in-person interaction and networking; this feedback aligns with Senior Leadership’s direction to bring the next intern class into the office for deeper engagement.

This year, we’re focused on three core goals:

  • Provide professional development through mentorship, training, and exposure to real consulting work.
  • Strengthen PCG’s employer brand in key cities by building local talent pipelines.
  • Assess interns for full-time conversion, with clear evaluation criteria and performance expectations.

Over the next ten weeks, our interns will dive into weekly Lunch & Learns, take part in dynamic networking events, sharpen their skills, and collaborate on impactful consulting and corporate projects within their practice areas. It’s not just about gaining experience, it’s about making meaningful contributions, building lasting relationships, and exploring the possibilities within PCG.

Our 2026 intern class features 13 high-potential students from 13 universities, each ready to bring their unique background and enthusiasm to every corner of the firm. Their commitment and curiosity promise to help shape the future of PCG.

I look forward to learning from experienced individuals around me and further developing the skills needed to grow professionally. “…I’m hoping to learn how consulting frameworks translate into real impact for public-sector clients and gain experience with how analysts turn raw data to actionable recommendations that shape public-sector decision-making. My data analytics coursework at Michigan has given me strong technical foundations, but I want to understand how those skills operate inside a live client engagement.
I also want to sharpen my ability to effectively communicate technical findings, build real fluency with Copilot as a process improvement tool, and contribute work that meaningfully moves a project forward. I’m really eager to shadow experienced analysts and learn what separates good recommendations from great ones. For me, success this summer will come with seeing the real-world impact that the work I do will have on the communities and clients we work with. I’m so excited!”

I’m especially excited to strengthen my analytical skills and contribute meaningfully to projects that improve health outcomes.
As a returning intern, I am eager to continue learning from team members at PCG and to further explore how my interests align with the work being done here. I am particularly interested in building relationships, expanding my professional network, and gaining insight into long term career pathways within the organization.
Success for me this summer would mean growing both professionally and personally, making meaningful contributions, and ultimately positioning myself for a full-time opportunity at PCG after I graduate.”

“Being a part of real client-facing projects in PCG’s Human Services Practice is what I am most eager about. Working under experienced professionals in management consulting not only helps me quickly develop skills as I get more comfortable doing the job, but it also helps provide much insight into the business. I feel that my supervisor Susie Storer is truly focused on building me up by challenging and exposing me to her field as much as possible. I strive to intake all that I learn from this experience to become a prepared and trained candidate for a potential full-time role at PCG in the future.”

“This summer marks my second time as a PCG intern, and I’m excited to build on the foundation I established last summer. During my previous role in Accounts Payable, I experienced firsthand PCG’s culture of collaboration. I felt so fortunate to work alongside colleagues who were invested in my growth, and that experience made me eager to return.
This year, I’m stepping into a role that hits closer to home. Having grown up in Philadelphia, contributing to a project that directly impacts Pennsylvania’s Human Services landscape is deeply meaningful to me. Public service and community involvement have always been priorities of mine, and this opportunity allows me to channel those passions into my career.
As I enter my senior year at NYU, success this summer means immersing myself in public-sector consulting and building the skills necessary to create a lasting impact in this field.””

By the end of the summer, success for me would be making meaningful connections, experiencing new environments, and making a better sense of what I want to pursue in the future!”
