PCG’s Latanya Michaux joined Nebraska’s DHHS’s Jacob Kawamoto and Amber Root-Johnson to discuss how Nebraska successfully addressed the policy and operational challenges of implementing the requirement on an accelerated timeline by developing effective processes and procedures that met immediate needs while supporting long-term operations. The presentation and material was well-received, with many follow-up questions directly after the presentation and high interest expressed in receiving additional information.

PCG’s Jay Derby presented on how Auto.IES™ enables agencies to review eligibility cases before certification, helping teams identify, explain, and address potential errors before they impact compliance, funding, or program integrity. The response to the Auto.IES roll-out was overwhelmingly positive. The presentation was highly attended by representatives from at least fourteen states and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Representatives from numerous states asked for private demonstrations.
