This year’s conference was themed “Amplifying Sound Health Policy,” and, as usual, the conference covered a range of health policy topics, starting with “pre-conference” panels on aging, cost drivers, and workforce sustainability. During the main conference, key topics covered included health-related social need and justice-involved waivers, health equity, maternal, prenatal and pediatric health, behavioral health, public health, and effective engagement and partnerships across state agencies and with stakeholders.

“Our deep Medicaid experience and focus on supporting our state partners gives us the perspective to support states through the process of not only developing the custom questions, but working with the tool owner/vendor to implement those changes.”

“We have released PCG’s Economic and Concrete Supports Services Manual to help human services agencies and organizations develop services that deliver direct economic and concrete supports to families. These solutions, based on proven research, are advised to reduce child abuse and neglect and help strengthen families and communities. We’re thrilled to contribute to this invaluable work.”

Manager, Human Services

“At the start of my professional life, I didn’t expect to have a 30-year career in business development, but I’m sure glad I found this path with PCG. Since joining the Human Services team in 2008, I have had so many wonderful opportunities to grow my career due to my involvement in proposals, capture planning, team building, and training—all of which are essential pieces of the procurement puzzle for public sector projects. It’s been a wonderful ride so far!”

“The perpetual evolution of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS’) approaches to enhanced federal financial participation (FFP) is complex. Similarly, the effective application of CMS’ Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) brings additional value to states in navigating both business-to-information technology (IT) alignment as well as architecture and transformation.”
