Meet PCG’s first official intern class!

This summer, our Boston office welcomed new interns as our first official PCG intern class. They are all working in practice areas from Health to corporate teams. In addition to their practice specific work, interns are also participating in various workshops to best prepare them for the professional world after college. Read their bios below! 


Intern: Alli Dorneo
College/University: Tufts University
Practice Area: Health
What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far?  Getting hands on experience with policies related to health care reform.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  Getting to try new foods at the food trucks located in the greenway by PCG.


Intern: Brendan Flynn
College/University: Providence College
Practice Area: Public Partnerships - Corporate Finance
What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far?  The best part of the internship has been being able to see the way Public Partnerships operates from an accounting and financial aspect. It gives a view of the company from a revenue and expense perspective, providing the path of company finances.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  In addition to furthering my business acumen, I have enjoyed this internship because of the challenge the commute provides and being able to experience the atmosphere in Boston on a day-to-day basis.


Intern: Brad Gasdia

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far?  The people I work around have experience in diverse areas so whenever I run into a problem someone is around who can lend me a hand. My coworkers have been incredibly helpful.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  Each day I'm able to drive in and out of the city with my father who also works in Boston.


Intern: Brad Herndon

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? My supervisors trust me with a lot of responsibility on projects, so I am constantly learning and implementing some of my ideas. It will be very exciting to see the impact of my work on students.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  Being able to explore the city at night and on the weekends. There is always something to do in Boston.


Intern: Brooke LePage

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far?  My favorite aspects about working at PCG thus far are the people and the simultaneous exposure to the private and public sectors.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  The best perk about being located in Boston are the views and lunch spots -- from Faneuil Hall, to the Greenway, to Boston Harbor.


Intern: Corey Ruane
College/University: University of Massachusetts Lowell
Practice Area: Health (Cost Allocation Plans)
What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far?  I really enjoy Boston because it is rich with history. We are located right next to Faneuil Hall where so many important discussions occurred in the 1700's, that have had lasting impacts on the United States as we know it. We are also just a few T stops away from Fenway park, and I love the Red Sox.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  I like working at PCG because the people here are very inclusive and collaborative, welcoming all of the interns into their workspace and offering guidance whenever needed. I also really enjoy the mission PCG works towards. Helping government agencies perform more effectively, adds value to everyone in the communities they serve, and I am happy to be a part of that.

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far?  The culture of PCG being incredibly open and inclusive.
What is the best part about the Boston location? Having the office right next to Faneuil Hall.


Intern: Dennis Panneton

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? Gaining valuable experience, while working to complete challenging tasks.
What is the best part about the Boston location?  I enjoy eating out in the city due to the variety of local establishments as well as the scenic lunch environment.

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? Meeting new people and learning about the company.
What is the best part about the Boston location? Being able to explore during lunch or after work!


Intern: Isabella Rossetti

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? The people in my office give me the support and confidence to initaite projects that engage my interest. 
What is the best part about the Boston location?  I really enjoy getting to know my fellow interns outside of the office, whether it be trying a new restaurant or playing cornhole on the greenway! 


Intern: Isabelle Zoeckler

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? My favorite aspect of the PCG internship program is the strong connections that I have built with my fellow interns. Apart from the networking, I have also been able to get applicable experience in my field of interest in marketing, and opportunities to learn.
What is the best part about the Boston location? I have really enjoy working in Boston and getting to know the city. It's great to have the ability to explore different spots, like the greenway, for lunch.

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? I love the team based effort our offices engages in to get work done.
What is the best part about the Boston location? Being surrounded by great sights and places is such a unique opportunity of being located in Boston.

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? My coworkers have been so great to work with, it's made the experience that much more interesting and enjoyable!
What is the best part about the Boston location? I like to work in Boston because I get to see the city every day. Many young people don’t have the opportunity to explore the city, or even just walk through the streets of a large and busy city like I do, and I think that’s something special.

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? The people here at PCG are all awesome people. The subject matter is extremely interesting and the work is rewarding.
What is the best part about the Boston location? The variety of lunch options offered nearby.

What is your favorite thing about being a PCG intern so far? I love working with the members of my team here at PCG. Everyone is so incredibly knowledgeable at the industry and are always willing to answer questions or lend a helping hand. It makes for a great working environment.
What is the best part about the Boston location? It's tough to choose just one but I really enjoy the athmosphere of the city as whole. Boston has it all from hundreds of years of deep rooted history to some of the greatest sports franchises across the world. People from Boston eat, sleep, and breathe Boston and I'm proud to call it my city.
